The “Imperial Cities” of Morocco, the four cities that have been capital of the country (Marrakesh, Fez, Meknes and Rabat) form the backbone of a great itinerary for those interested in history, culture, and being fully immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of an ancient society. This tour also allows you to spend time in coastal Tangier as well as seeing the Hassan II Mosque of Casablanca, meaning this holiday gets so much out of Morocco in just a fortnight.

Travelling by rail in Morocco is fast, full of colonial history and a great way to see some of the beautiful scenery in between cities so we have incorporated several train journeys within this itinerary. You will also have the perfect balance between private sightseeing day tours with a knowledgeable local guide and time at leisure for you to explore independently.
